In this letter to the editor, the authors respond to an editorial by Dr. Shonkoff regarding the need for a different approach to early childhood investment. More specifically, they highlight three examples from the MIECHV Program that exemplify this approach including, state evaluations conducted as part of the MIECHV Program, the national evaluation of the MIECHV Program, and the Home Visiting Research Network.
