HARC is in the process of developing Special Interest Groups (SIGs) for our members as a way of facilitating connections between members with similar backgrounds or research and program interests. We envision that these groups will be largely member-driven, although we will provide support to facilitate their communication needs and organization.

We are currently surveying our HARC members to help establish the groups that would be of most interest to our members. These groups may be focused on:

  • particular topics (e.g., family engagement, fathers in home visiting, rural or frontier service delivery);
  • research methods (e.g., observational measures, innovative methods); or
  • background (early career scholars, scholars from underrepresented backgrounds)

Please stay tuned for more details and look for the first SIGs to roll out in the next year.
