Workforce Development Special Interest Group (Workforce SIG)
Do you have an interest in the study of workforce development in home visiting? The Workforce SIG is open to all those engaged in research and evaluation, local home visiting staff, home visiting model representatives, and anyone with burning questions about workforce development that can be answered through research. Join the Workforce Development Special Interest Group (Workforce SIG).
Workforce development is consistently recognized as a key element in home visiting quality improvement efforts. Hiring and retaining staff to deliver and manage home visiting services is one of the most frequently cited barriers to sustaining and growing program capacity.
The Workforce SIG is focused on the study of workforce development—research and evaluation to identify gaps and strengthen the evidence on the topics listed above. It will provide a way for PBRN members who are interested in the study of workforce development to come together, share their research, explore recent developments, and find opportunities to work and present together on this topic.
