Each month, HARC distributes the HARC Herald, a newsletter that provides readers with evidence-informed resources from the field, external funding announcements, early career opportunities, and much more. The HARC Herald Newsletter is a great way to stay up to date with the latest in precision home visiting work.
If you are interested in receiving HARC’s newsletter to your email, please join HARC.
Do you have research-related announcements or examples of precision research you’d like to share with the HARC network? If so, we’d love to hear from you! Please review our guidelines below to see if your item is a good fit.
Thank you for your consideration of HARC’s monthly newsletter as a venue for dissemination of information. HARC’s newsletter goes out by the last weekday of each month. Items must be submitted to harc@hvresearch.org by the 20th to be considered for that month’s newsletter.
HARC newsletters (previous issues below) feature publications (peer reviewed, briefs and reports), calls for special journal articles, funding opportunities, conferences, webinars, and opportunities to support the careers of early career scholars. HARC uses the following criteria for considering if an item is appropriate for inclusion in the newsletter:
1. Item is relevant to home visiting research – Research-to-Practice or Research-to-Policy briefs and reports will be considered if they include a reasonably thorough and unbiased synthesis of current relevant research
2. Item is not an opinion piece (e.g., op-ed, conceptual article)
3. Item must be reasonably free of spelling or grammatical errors
In your submission, please include a brief description of the item and your name and contact information. If you are submitting your own publication, also indicate if you are an early career scholar (either enrolled in a degree program or within 5 years of degree completion).
